Our family is just like any other normal family, you know a family that loves each other, a family that sometimes have a little misunderstanding about things. But do you know what I love about my family? It's that even though there are problems we encounter, we still manage to stay strong and in love with each other. For me, my family was the best! My family is the one who helped me become who I am today. They are also the one who inspires me to pursue my dreams which is to finish my studies and become a successful engineer someday.

Did you know that I'm the eldest among my siblings? well (congratulations!) now you know. I have two younger sisters and I do really love them, even though there are times that we don't really get along with (because I'm a boy and they are girls duh "-_-) so usually they are having a great time together ,while me, well I'm just playing video games with... myself T_T.

My Family and I used to travel to different places together, eat at different fast-food chains and restaurants together and many more. Aside from that me and my family really loves to watch horror movies together it is somehow our bonding moment together. "A time spent with family, is worth every second."

I'm really thankful that God gave me this kind of Family. A family that takes care of me. A family that makes sure that no one gets left behind. A family that's always here for me no matter what.

You may have many friends, or only a few. Some are only acquaintances, not true friends. A friend is someone you can hang out with, have fun with and depend on. These are my FRIENDS. The people who's behind my kind of crazy attitude especially when I'm with them. As I you can see in my earlier posts, I met most of my Closest Friends in Junior High (they are the "peeps" in the photo above ^^) They are one of the people who's always there for me no matter what happens. Friends that is willing to support me in my decisions. The reason why (sometimes) I got home late. People that always make me feel loves aside from my parents and family. People that I chose to be part of my life. 

I've got different kinds of friends,They are My Friends and I'm happy (and lucky at the same time) to have these kinds of Friends. 

I'm happy because I got friends that I can talk to specially if I'm feeling down or sad, I got friends that I can sometimes go out with, Friends that I can play video games with (until our eyes popped out  - Hey JEM!) I've got friends that knows how to sing, dance, make everyone laugh, make poets, play video games, and etc.

And as the time passes by, more and more people become my Friends, most of them are my classmates in Senior High, (some of them are in the photo below)

I can't really Imagine my life without them. So I'm taking this opportunity to thank all of you guys!

Personal Information - So, I was born in Dinalupihan,Bataan on the 3rd of April year 2001, I'm 16 years old and my full name is  Joshua Miguel C. Victorio, but you can just call me Josh or Joshua. When I was born my parents and I used to stay in Bataan however my parents decided to move here in Laguna, Our home address is block 4 lot 27 St. Joseph Village 5 Butong, Cabuyao City, Laguna.

Educational background -I studied at Butong Elementary School during my elementary days, and I finished Junior high school at Bigaa Integrated National High School (BINHS). This is where I met most of my friends, and my girlfriend now, and probably the best part of my life(highscool life) <3. And right now I'm a grade 11 student taking STEM at STI colleges Sta Rosa.

Well first of all I'm an avid gamer, which means I really like to play a lot of video games, online games, offline games, LAN games you name it, League of Legends was my personal favorite, second was "The Legend Of Zelda" series. I guess some of you won't understand this unless you're a gamer, anyway let's continue HAHA.

 I love to study as well and I am also good at drawing and in using oil pastels. Here are some of my random-ish works that I did for my projects assignments and sometimes, things that I draw when I'm bored or have nothing to do.

 I don't really like those things that makes me bored, because I'm an adventurous kind of guy that always likes to be challenged (deal with it xD). I love listening to music, I also know how to play the guitar. I like the colors Black, White (the reason why most of my pictures is in"black and white"filter) and Green. And you know what ? I have this strange Phobia that I don't want to share with anyone.(I'm sorry) because it's kinda embarrassing.

Ambition- I wanted to be an Engineer, because ever since I was a little boy, I always dreamed of being an animator because as I mentioned earlier i really love to draw.

René Descartes (/ˈdeɪˌkɑːrt/ French: [ʁəne dekaʁt]; Latinized: Renatus Cartesius; adjectival form: "Cartesian". 31 March 1596 – 11 February 1650) was a French philosopher, mathematician, and scientist. Dubbed the father of modern western philosophy, much of subsequent Western philosophy is a response to his writings, which are studied closely to this day. A native of the Kingdom of France, he spent about 20 years (1629–49) of his life in the Dutch Republic after serving for a while in the Dutch States Army of Maurice of Nassau, Prince of Orange and the Stadtholder of the United Provinces. He is generally considered one of the most notable intellectual representatives of the Dutch Golden Age.

Descartes's Meditations on First Philosophy continues to be a standard text at most university philosophy departments. Descartes's influence in mathematics is equally apparent; the Cartesian coordinate system (see below) was named after him. He is credited as the father of analytical geometry, the bridge between algebra and geometry, used in the discovery of infinitesimal calculus and analysis. Descartes was also one of the key figures in the scientific revolution.

Descartes refused to accept the authority of previous philosophers. He frequently set his views apart from those of his predecessors. In the opening section of the Les passions de l'âme, a treatise on the early modern version of what are now commonly called emotions, Descartes goes so far as to assert that he will write on this topic "as if no one had written on these matters before". His best known philosophical statement is "Cogito ergo sum" (French: Je pense, donc je suis; I think, therefore I am), found in part IV of Discours de la méthode (1637; written in French but with inclusion of "Cogito ergo sum") and §7 of part I of Principles of Philosophy (1644; written in Latin).

Many elements of his philosophy have precedents in late Aristotelianism, the revived Stoicism of the 16th century, or in earlier philosophers like Augustine. In his natural philosophy, he differed from the schools on two major points: first, he rejected the splitting of corporeal substance into matter and form; second, he rejected any appeal to final ends, divine or natural, in explaining natural phenomena.In his theology, he insists on the absolute freedom of God's act of creation.

Descartes laid the foundation for 17th-century continental rationalism, later advocated by Baruch Spinoza and Gottfried Leibniz, and opposed by the empiricist school of thought consisting of Hobbes, Locke, Berkeley, and Hume. Leibniz, Spinoza and Descartes were all well-versed in mathematics as well as philosophy, and Descartes and Leibniz contributed greatly to science as well.

Conquering Yourself 101

  “Conquer yourself, not the world” I’m going to ask you guys, what do you think is the actual meaning of this quotation? Because for me this quote simply means or talks about discipline. To be more specific, It’s all about “self-discipline” of a person.

      

  It starts by stating “conquer yourself” They say that the greatest victory is the conquering of self. For me it’s not just the greatest victory, but the first victory. Nothing else is of consequence until you have gained some self-discipline, or the mastery of yourself. Just look at the famous celebrities now, most of them are being idolized by most of us not just because of their looks, or how rich and famous they are, most of all is because of their behavior or self-discipline.

      

  But in order to conquer yourself or gain some self-discipline, you must first know who you really are. According to the famous philosopher Socrates “the unexamined life is not worth living” so you must understand your true identity or your own self. It can help you think of a way to conquer yourself, you shouldn’t be like those who don’t care at all about their attitudes whether these are good or bad. Some people believe that “if you’re rich, then you’re rich”, “if you’re the smartest, so be it” they don’t even care what kind of attitude they have.

      

  In addition some of them well only believe what their opinions are. They will not pay attention to others. They will start to step aside and ignore your opinions, feelings or even emotions of others.

       

I believe that one will really like you because you’re rich. No one will ever like you just because you’re smart. No one will like you nor even love you just because you’re famous .If you don’t have a heart. I don’t  literally mean the heart inside our body , but what I am referring to is  the feeling, emotion, attitude, manner and self-discipline rolled into one. Maybe you can’t conquer the world at all, but you can be a better person for the world, a better person for our society. So I’m going to ask you one last question ,“have you conquered yourself yet?” ask yourself. Because if not then you should start right now, like RIGHT NOW! That’s all thank you.
